Welcome to the White Bear Lake Isshinryu Karate and Ryukyu Kobudo Shimbukan Club. Jerry Holt Sensei, a 7th degree black belt in Isshinryu and a 4th degree black belt in Ryukyu kobudo has been studying martial arts for more than 40 years.  He leads our club as we learn and train in a traditional Okinawa martial art that dates back hundreds of years.

With dedication and hard work, karate can take you places both mentally and physically that you didn't think were possible. It has the potential to be a lifelong journey if you choose it.
