 BASIC:

DOMAIN NAME:
Choosing a domain name (name of your site).
This is the first step you should complete. Choose any name you like then check to see if it available. There is a cost for registering domain names and prices vary greatly depending on which company you choose. Typically you would register your name for a year but there are longer contracts available. We can do your domain search and step you through the process for a small fee.
LAYOUT:
What layout do you want?
You can use our templates to help with your decision. We also suggest surfing the web for a site that you like. Then save the URL (http://...) so you can provide us with it. You can use the standard page layout or present your site in frames or Iframes. Some of our pages load inside Iframes which helps to keep the site dimensions stable.
IMAGES:
How many images do you want on your site?
This will vary greatly depending on what type of site your building. The very basics are your banner and a background image. If your selling items you will probably want to use images to link to more information about them.
BANNER:
Do you have or need to make a banner?
Every site needs a banner. It's your way of standing out from others. It can be simple or an extravagant flash production. Either way it will be your unique image identifying your business. If you already have one that's great. If you don't we can make one for you at a very reasonable price.
LINKING:
How will you link to other pages.
Linking to other pages seems like a no brainer but you do have a few choices in this area. The most popular method is to use rollover links (images that change when your curser rolls over them) for linking to your sites main pages. Then use regular text links in the body of your pages. If your site is going to have allot of pages then using a Drop Down Menu is also a good option.

NUMBER OF PAGES:
How many pages do you need?
Typical pages are: Home, Photo Album, Contact, Terms, Policy, About Us, and Maps. Of course you can have as many as you like but keep in mind that you want your visitors to easily find what they are looking for.
PASSWORD:
Do you want to password protect your pages.
If your site contains information you don't want the general public to access you can password protect it. You have probably seen this on sites with a log-in box. You can have it set up so that a visitor can create a password online or you can choose the password and provide it to all your known visitors.
SALES:
Are you going to sell services or items online?
If your site is going to offer services or items for sale you will need an online payment method. We suggest Paypal. We think they are the quickest and easiest way to receive funds.
COLORS
What colors will you use?
If you already know the colors your going to use that's great but if not you can search the web for more ideas.
SCROLLING MARQUEE
How about adding a scrolling marquee?
GUESTBOOK
Do you want a guestbook?
Guest Books are typically used on personal sites but can be used on any site. Some Guest Books are free but usually display ads unless you pay a fee to run them add free.

Where will you host your site?
When your site has been completed you will need to put it somewhere so that others can view it. The company that keeps your web site on their computers for others to view are called the host. There are a ridiculous numbers of these to choose from. They also vary allot in price.
NOTE - You do not need a host before designing your site but you should purchase your domain name.
SITE UPADTES  - Our rates for this service are very reasonable.
Who will update your site?
Updating can be done by you. This is the best option if you have the software and the experience. We can also do the updating for you. If you want us to update your site and you are going to use another host you will need to provide us your user name and password to access your account.
KEY WORDS
Key words for search engines.
These are the words that search engines use to find your site. They are embeded into the head section of your opening page's HTML and need to refer to the context of your site. We can help you with this.
SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSION:
When people search for web sites they use search engines (i.e. Google).
Your site should be submitted to search engines for others to find it when searching the web. We can help you with this for a fee.
 RATES:

In most cases the real cost will not be known until every detail about your site is determined.
If you would like a quote based on your design needs please fill out our quote request form. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.
 PAYMENT OPTIONS:

PayPal, Money Orders and Personal Checks.
PayPal is our preferred method of payment and is the quickest way for us to get your site designed and online. We also accept money orders and personal checks.
 STEPS TO BUILDING YOUR SITE:
TOP  
1. Fill out our quote request form.
2. After we receive your request we will contact you in the manner you prefer (either by email or phone) and go over your design needs. We will then provide you with an estimate for your project.
3. We will start designing your site.

4. After the initial design is completed you will look it over and notify us of any changes you want made. This is when we will provide you with your projects total design cost. You will then be given a link to our online contract.

5. After we receive the completed contract we will bill you for 30% of the design cost. The design cost will not change unless you ask us to deviate from your contract.
6. When the first payment is received we will then complete the requested changes and send you another sample. We will work with you for two more rounds to make all changes needed. NOTE: Rounds are limited to 3 as an incentive to complete the design in a reasonable amount of time but if your site needs more attention to complete it per contract we will of course do so.
7. When all contracted terms are met the balance will then be due within 7 days.
8. After we receive the remaining balance we will send you all the files for your new site.
NOTE: If we are going to host your site it will be online very quickly but if you want us to upload files to another host we will need access (User Name & Password) to do so.
